Delivers high quality care utilizing the nursing process while demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills of the specialty required on assigned unit in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care.Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of patient’s care. Develops an individual plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and health care team.Assesses the needs of patients and families, providing appropriate teaching and making the necessary referrals to provide continuity of care.A few of our nurses also work in our pediatric clinics and our extended home care settings. ![]() Their needs include lab draws, NG/G-tube feedings, ostomy or wound cares, central line cares or jaundice and breastfeeding patients. Our home health program cares for high-risk patients who need to stay home to stay healthy. Given our fluctuating census, we cross train our nurses to multiple areas to maintain our skills with our littlest patients, including OB/NICU and certified pediatric home health. We utilize primary care nursing and feel it is our duty to care for our patients and include theirfamilies in as much education as possible. Our most common diagnoses include respiratory illnesses, sepsis, jaundice and weight loss, surgical patients, gastrointestinal illnesses and occasionally stable adult overflow. ![]() Full-time, Nights 7pm-7am with every 3rd weekendġ0-bed unit caring for children from birth through 18 years. ![]()
